The editors and publishing professionals on our team take a lot of pride in assisting authors. Our focus is on assisting writers navigate the publishing world, making sure authors and their works are noticed. As a writer, your focus in on the story, our focus is on getting it to market and on shelves.

The Texas Society for Advancement of Health Professions’ (TSAHP) Student Leadership Development initiative is a

12-month-long leadership program from February to August aimed at providing tools to a small number of first-year

graduate students of health professions programs. Goals include building professionalism, management, and leadership skills. This hybrid program includes readings and thirteen monthly online meetings, as well as a face-to-face component during the annual TSAHP conference held in September of each year. Dr. Wade Redman, Acting Assistant Provost of Digital Learning and Chairperson for the Department of Laboratory Sciences & Primary Care within the School of Health Professions, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center along with Dr. Jamie Baker, Associate Program Director, Medical Dosimetry Program School of Health Professions, MD Anderson Cancer Center, will be the program coordinators. Additionally, Kayla Northrip, a 2024 alumnus from the TSAHP Student Leadership Program and OTD Texas Women University student class of ’26, will be serving as a mentor as well.

Food registration fees for the TSAHP Annual Conference are complimentary for student participants. Selected applicants are responsible for the costs of course materials, travel, and accommodations during the conference.
